Princess Redtail by ~spocha Rarely do I see a non-realism watercolor done in such a fashion that retains precision. Pay close attention to the blanket, and how it ingeniously mimics the pattern of the tail. (Suggested by ~shadowstarrz and Featured by `alphaosiris)

Veldig fin. Veldig stille og fin theme over bilde. Så fredelig. Bra fargelegging og nydelige detaljer.

*koolbeans19 is right. You should get a Prints account! ; ; I would so buy everything you make. X3

This is beautiful. You make watercolors so bright! I always find that mine come out dull. ; ; I think it's because I use a lot of black. Do you just use darker colors to shade the lighter colors? I see very little black here, so maybe I should try that. X3

Anyway! Gorgeous piccy.

She's been sleeping for a while. ;)

I usually use alot of blue and brown when shading. I rarely just paint with black without mixing it with some brown first. In this picture I just used darker shades of the base color for contours and shadow.

Shiat, thats very good!

I remember seeing this in your livejournal^^. Very beautiful and peaceful, especially the scenery! You work miracles with watercolors, I swear:D ! I've been afraid of my watercolors lately^^;...looks like this must have taken forever to do as well! Was it wet on wet, or wet on dry, if I may be so bold to wonder:giggle:.
